Junior Programmer - Onsite - Baltimore, MD
About the role :
The Junior Programmer provides essential development support for the modernization initiative, focusing on the practical application of .NET Core, SQL, and AWS cloud services to facilitate data consolidation and high-performance analytics.
Key responsibilities :
● Develop, document, and maintain software applications using .NET Core in alignment with industry best practices and coding standards.
● Write, optimize, and debug SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to manage data within relational databases.
● Assist in the deployment and configuration of applications within AWS environments.
● Support the integration of disparate data sources and web services using standard API protocols.
● Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, unit testing, and bug fixing.
· Collaborate with senior team members to implement open-source tools and maintain version control via Git.
Required Qualification :
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
● 3–5 years of foundational experience in software development with a focus on .NET Core and C#.
● Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems.
● Familiarity with open-source libraries and frameworks
Basic understanding of AWS core services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
Compensation :
$50/hr
This is the targeted compensation range for this role. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
