The client is looking at hiring a Product Manager : AI-Enabled Revenue Cycle Automation for their team at Bangalore.
Role :
Own the roadmap, scope, and acceptance criteria for an AI-enabled healthcare revenue-cycle automation product end to end, from problem definition through production deployment. This is a hands-on product ownership role with a direct line to customers and to the product's commercial outcome, not a coordinating or shared PM role.
Responsibilities :
- Own roadmap, scope, and prioritization for an AI-enabled healthcare automation product.
- Write acceptance criteria that can be objectively tested against a model's output - accuracy, precision/recall, and business outcome - not just feature-level requirements.
- Own the customer-facing conversation for the product: what it does, what it costs to deliver, and what is a genuinely new capability versus a rebuild of existing functionality.
- Own the product's commercial outcome: net cost/margin impact from automation, plus any incremental software-licensing revenue tied to the same build.
- Partner with engineering, data science, and clinical/coding subject-matter experts without owning their technical implementation.
- Push back on requests that would compromise cost, timeline, or the accuracy bar the product is held to.
Experience :
- 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years as the primary product owner of an AI- or ML-powered product shipped to production customers.
- Healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing/coding, or payer operations experience - candidates without direct RCM/claims workflow knowledge will not be competitive.
- Demonstrated ability to write acceptance criteria that are testable against a model's output.
- Experience owning a product tied to a measurable financial or operational outcome, not just a
feature backlog.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the tradeoffs between rules-based/deterministic systems and ML/LLM-based systems in a regulated domain.
- Experience scoping or selling a software module that integrates into a customer's existing system of record (e.g., an EHR-embedded module).
Technology & Tools:
- Product/roadmap tooling: Jira, Confluence, Aha! or equivalent.
- SQL, sufficient to query claims, coding, and outcome data directly rather than relying on an analyst.
- Working fluency in ML/AI evaluation vocabulary (precision, recall, accuracy, confidence) - enough to write and defend acceptance criteria against a model's output.
- Spec/design collaboration tools (Figma, Miro, or equivalent) for workflow and UI requirements.
- Analytics/BI tooling (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI) for tracking product and commercial KPIs.
