Job Description:
Stormwater Engineer 4+ Years
$85K$105K + benefits | Auckland | Hybrid working
This would suit an engineer who already has a solid grounding in stormwater design and wants broader project exposure and a clear pathway towards Senior level.
Youll Be Involved In:
Stormwater design across land development and infrastructure projects
Catchment assessments, pipe networks, culverts, detention and treatment systems
Flood assessments and stormwater management planning
Design calculations, reporting and consenting
Working alongside civil, water, transport and other engineering disciplines
Liaising with clients, councils and project teams
Increasing project responsibility as your experience develops
Youll Ideally Bring:
4+ years stormwater/civil engineering experience
NZ Consultancy Experience Preferred
Good technical design capability
Civil 3D and/or 12d experience advantageous
Experience with stormwater modelling software would be useful
Strong communication skills
Progress towards CPEng welcomed
Senior Stormwater Engineer 8+ Years
$110K$130K + benefits | Auckland | Flexible working
For the more experienced engineer, this is an opportunity to take ownership of significant stormwater projects while remaining technically involved.
Youll Be Involved In:
Leading stormwater design and delivery across major projects
Stormwater management, flood assessment and hydraulic design
Reviewing designs and providing technical guidance
Managing projects from initial concept through detailed design and delivery
Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
Building relationships with key public and private sector clients
Mentoring and supporting developing engineers
Contributing to proposals and future project opportunities
Youll Ideally Bring:
8+ years stormwater engineering experience
Strong consultancy and project delivery background
Experience across infrastructure and/or land development
Strong technical stormwater design capability
Client-facing and project management experience
CPEng, or well advanced towards achieving it
An interest in mentoring others and taking on greater technical or team leadership responsibility
