Our company

At Teradata, we believe that people thrive when empowered with better information. Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform activates enterprise intelligence by unifying data, knowledge and business context to achieve tangible outcomes. With Teradata, organizations can provide agents with full context for impact when it matters. Our solution lets businesses connect and scale on premises, in the cloud, or through a hybrid approach. Teradata delivers real business value with AI.

What You'll Do

In this role you will support end-to-end supply chain operations across purchasing, supplier management, and operational reporting — helping ensure Teradata's hardware supply chain runs smoothly and that our teams have the visibility they need to make good decisions fast.

- Execute purchase orders and manage the full procurement cycle for hardware components, coordinating with Teradata's broader Supply Chain organization.

- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact with suppliers on order status, lead time updates, pricing changes, and escalations.

- Run the weekly Order Status and Product/Material readiness calls, documenting decisions, tracking open items, and escalating issues as needed.

- Compile and present Monthly Supply Chain Field Quality metrics — including install status, survey return rates, satisfaction ratings, out-of-box quality trends, and customer feedback.

- Compile and present the Monthly/Quarterly Supply Chain Cost process update.

- Track and report supplier performance metrics including on-time delivery, lead time trends, and cost variances.

- Develop and maintain operational reports covering inventory levels, open orders, backlog, and fulfillment status.

- Support ESG-related initiatives including supplier data collection, ad-hoc research, and documentation requests.

- Drive process improvement efforts — validating supply chain data, documenting repeatable workflows, and supporting reporting consistency across the team.

Who You'll Work With

On our team, you'll be part of a lean, high-impact Supply Chain & Logistics group that touches nearly every corner of Teradata's hardware operations — from procurement and supplier management to demand planning and program management. You'll report to the Manager, Supply Chain and Logistics, and work closely with internal partners across Program Management, Engineering, Accounting, and Finance, as well as external partners including IT hardware suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics providers.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

- 4-year college degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.

- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations.

- Proficiency in Excel and data tools, with experience in ERP or order management systems.

- Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance and increase efficiency in day-to-day work.

What You'll Bring

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal stakeholders and supplier-facing interactions.

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

- Experience with hardware or technology supply chains (servers, storage, networking) is a plus.

- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM/order management platforms.

- Exposure to global manufacturing partners or contract manufacturers.
