Nebius Science, a project by Nebius Academy and Nebius's research media lab, is expanding. Since our inception this spring, we’ve published dozens of features, including exclusive interviews with Yann LeCun, Bryan Catanzaro, and Max Welling, and launched The Paper Picks, a weekly roundup of AI research that caught our R&D’s eye. And we’re just getting started.

We cover AI research and AI-driven science, and that requires people who understand the field deeply and are hungry to tell its stories to the world.

A remote contract role is now open to candidates based in Europe: AI Science Writer.

Tell the stories: Nebius in-house research, AI for science, and global R&D trends. You'll write, edit, interview people, attend conferences, and host research webinars.

What it takes:

AI research/tech background. You follow AI R&D trends, read arXiv for breakfast, and can explain what speculative decoding or JEPA are to a six-year-old.

Multi-genre. You're as comfortable with technical deep dives as with punchy social posts or a newsletter.

Broad curiosity. You care about AI alignment and safety, and bring an anthropological lens to how humans and AI co-evolve.

Real presentation skills. You can be on camera, not just on the page.

Fluency building AI tools. You can turn models and agents into editorial workflows.

Excellent written and spoken English. You’re a wordsmith, able to craft a clear, engaging story from scratch, without LLMs.

We’re looking for long-term contractors, with a path to a full-time role.
