About Us
Nobura is an early-stage startup from Munich. We help real estate clients finally benefit from the potential of AI — through unprecedented efficiency and transparency gains. Our agentic action and intelligence layer for institutional property owners and asset managers automates tedious work and delivers decision intelligence that increases portfolio value. We are very early but with substantial customer traction — and are building the founding team now.
Our Culture
This role is for everyone who is eager to build and learn with a tech-driven mindset. We believe that organisations are fundamentally changing in the world of AI. For us this means: every role here is client-facing as well as product-facing — nobody at Nobura only talks, everybody builds. We work on-site in central Munich, believing that being together in person is critical to success, culture, and fun.
Your Role & Responsibilities
You work directly with the founders. You are in front of clients from week one and you ship real things — on scope that someone else has framed for you.
- Sit with the client. You join client calls, workshops and onboarding sessions, and you turn what you hear into requirements, notes and prototypes. You will be in a room with an asset manager in your first weeks, not at the end of your internship.
- Ship with AI. You build and ship features for our platform. Claude Code, Cursor and whatever comes next write the code; you write the requirements, run the agents, review the output and test it. You will not own the roadmap — but the things you build go live.
- Support delivery. Portfolio onboarding, invoice processing, report generation — the work our product does not automate yet. It is unglamorous, it is where you learn how this industry actually works, and it is a real part of the job.
- Investigate and answer. Research a new client segment, a competitor, a pricing question or a tool, and come back with a tangible playbook, prototype or analysis rather than a recommendation.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Analytical & Structured: You have strong analytical foundations and practical experience breaking down problems and communicating solutions clearly. You love to solve.
- AI Curiosity: You already use AI tools daily and are genuinely excited about where they are going. You reach for a tool before you reach for a colleague.
- Not Afraid of Code: You will read code, JSON and SQL and review what an agent produced. You do not need a computer science background — but "I'll wait for an engineer" will not work here.
- Client-Ready: You can sit in a room with a managing director of an asset manager and be useful. Excellent communicator in German and English.
- Get-It-Done: You thrive in ambiguity, take ownership of your projects, and know when to ship and when to polish.
- Available: You are enrolled at a university and can join us full-time for at least three months. A semester off or a gap year is ideal, but not a requirement.
You May Not Be a Good Fit if
- You want a clearly defined task list to be productive.
- You see client contact as something you earn later in your career.
- You think the manual work is beneath an internship. Until the product automates it, someone does it by hand — and part of the time, that someone will be you.
- You are looking for an established corporate environment and a 9-to-5 mentality.
Why Join Us
- Real impact from day one. Every role is client-facing as well as product-facing, so you get to solve real-world problems with solutions you personally build. Nothing you do here ends up in a folder.
- The right technology at the right moment. AI completely changes how businesses operate and how products get built. Real estate is one of the largest and least digitised industries there is, and it is being rebuilt right now — this is the window to be one of the people doing it, not one of the people reading about it.
- An unrivaled learning curve. You work directly with the founders, you see the whole company from sales call to shipped feature, and you get 1:1 mentorship — paired with a competitive salary.
- People you'll love to spend time with. Though we all love to work, we also love to have fun while doing so. Everyone here is fun to work with, so you will enjoy dinners, offsites, and Monday mornings.
