Role Description The Oil Bulk Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Ringwood NJ. This role is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading bulk oil, following all company procedures and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include completing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, monitoring product levels, documenting deliveries and transfer quantities, and ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning of tanks, hoses, and related equipment. The Oil Bulk Driver coordinates with production and warehouse teams to schedule deliveries, avoid production interruptions, and maintain accurate records. This role also involves following safety protocols, reporting maintenance needs, and supporting general operational activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver bulk delivery vehicles, including experience with commercial trucks or tankers.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical and safety procedures related to fluid transfer systems, hoses, pumps, and tank inspections.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate measurement, documentation, and verification of oil quantities and delivery records.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety, food safety, and adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
- Valid driver’s license; a commercial driver’s license (CDL-B), Tanker Endorsememt and clean driving record needed.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in production or warehouse environments.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing, bulk liquid delivery, or similar industrial roles is beneficial.
