What You’ll Do
In this role, you will serve as a Staff Product Manager for Teradata’s AI products driving product vision, strategy, planning, roadmap, execution and adoption. You will define and influence how Teradata integrates AI/ML technologies into our enterprise-scale platforms.
Your impact will be shaping how customers harness Teradata Cloud and data warehouse capabilities through AI-driven insights, automation, and intelligent applications. You will set the roadmap for embedding AI into mission-critical workloads, balancing innovation with performance, governance, and compliance.
Success in this role will be measured by delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions optimized for hybrid and multi-cloud deployments, unlocking measurable customer value while ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of AI workloads.
Who You Will Work With
You will collaborate with customers, engineering, cloud infrastructure, data science, UX, governance and other functions to bring next-generation AI capabilities into Teradata’s enterprise ecosystem and would be responsible for ensuring our products meet business objectives.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- Bachelor’s in Engineering from a recognized institution. MBA is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in software product development companies, including 4+ years in product management working with AI/ML or analytics products.
- Good knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including Agents, LLMs, supervised/unsupervised learning, fine-tuning and inference pipelines.
- Proven success in embedding AI into enterprise-scale platforms, especially in data management, analytics, or cloud environments.
- Familiarity with AI tooling and best practices such as for training, inferencing, GPUs, integration and orchestration.
- Experience with APIs, SDKs, and integrations for enterprise adoption.
- Knowledge of hybrid and public cloud platforms and their impact on AI performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Understanding of governance and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2) and experience applying them to AI/ML solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and articulate AI product plans.
- Strong track record of customer engagement, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking in enterprise software.
- Good expertise with user experience, product KPIs and prioritization.
- Experience with AI productivity tools.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high quality outcomes.
- Ability to mentor product managers and guide them through design, planning, and execution.
- A proactive mindset, comfortable working in fast paced, dynamic environments.
- Adaptability and passion for building impactful AI-driven products.

- Expertise in building AI products across cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring cost-efficiency and performance at scale.
- Exposure to AI model and agent development with structured and unstructured enterprise data at scale.
- Familiarity with GPU and emerging accelerator technologies for training, inference, and fine-tuning AI models.
- A strong understanding of responsible AI, including fairness, explainability, auditability, and bias detection.
- Vision to anticipate industry trends and position Teradata’s AI offerings as differentiated and enterprise-ready.
- Passion for enabling intuitive, AI-powered user experiences (e. g. , natural language query, automated insights, intelligent automation).
- Ability to operate as a lead guiding product direction and influencing others.
