Role Description
As an Architect, you will be responsible for leading and developing architectural designs that balance functionality, aesthetics, technical requirements, sustainability, and project objectives. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop architectural concepts, design strategies, spatial planning, and project proposals based on client and project requirements.
- Lead design development from initial concepts through detailed design, documentation, and project delivery.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, specifications, models, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, interior, landscape, and other multidisciplinary requirements.
- Communicate design concepts and technical solutions clearly through drawings, presentations, 3D models, and visualizations.
- Research building materials, construction methods, technologies, and sustainable design solutions.
- Review project documentation to identify design conflicts, technical issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable building codes, planning regulations, accessibility requirements, and relevant standards.
- Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand requirements, present design solutions, and incorporate feedback.
- Support project planning, design reviews, approvals, coordination meetings, and construction-related activities.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, specifications, models, and design records.
- Contribute to sustainable, innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality architectural solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- Professional architectural qualification or registration is preferred where applicable.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, spatial planning, building systems, construction methods, and materials.
- Good understanding of building codes, planning regulations, accessibility standards, and architectural requirements.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with visualization and rendering tools such as Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, or similar software is a plus.
- Strong design, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to balance creative design concepts with technical, functional, regulatory, and commercial considerations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative and innovative mindset with a strong interest in sustainable design and emerging architectural technologies.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating architectural design, technical documentation, and visual communication skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
