We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller / Senior Data Scientist to join a data-focused team in Amsterdam.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Design Logical Data Models in collaboration with Data Architects and Solution Architects.
- Translate logical data models into physical data models and vice versa.
- Gather and analyse requirements from business stakeholders.
- Make sound data modelling decisions and drive progress even with incomplete information.
- Work closely with technical and business teams to ensure scalable and effective data solutions.
- Contribute to data integration and modelling initiatives, including SAP-related projects.
🔹 Must-Have Skills
- 8–10 years of strong experience in Data Modelling / Data Science.
- Extensive experience with Logical Data Models.
- Strong understanding of Data Concepts & Data Modelling.
- Excellent Oracle SQL / SQL skills.
- Strong knowledge of Data Vault 2.0.
- Ability to translate between logical and physical data models.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with incomplete information.
🔹 Nice to Have
- Experience with data integration and data modelling in SAP-related projects.
- Knowledge of retail data entities such as Customer and Stock.
- Experience with dbt, BigQuery and GitHub.
- Experience working in data-driven transformation / MOT environments.
