About The Team

The Payroll function sits within Human Resources and reports to the Global Head of HR Ops, Reward & Analytics. Based in London, the four-person team manages eight in-house Fitch Group UK payrolls and 14 outsourced payrolls across the EMEA region.

How You’ll Make An Impact

- Support the end-to-end processing of monthly UK payrolls for approximately 1,450 employees across eight PAYE schemes, ensuring deadlines are met.

- Assist with the input, review and payment of 14 outsourced payrolls across the EMEA region.

- Reconcile monthly payroll general ledger accounts in Oracle.

- Reconcile and arrange payment of monthly pension contributions, supporting wider benefits administration as needed.

- Work closely with Human Resources and Finance to ensure accurate, timely information flow.

- Respond to internal and external payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.

You May Be a Good Fit If

- Highly numerate, with strong attention to detail and good Microsoft Office skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency with lookups and pivot tables.

- Able to work accurately with confidential information and handle payroll-related queries professionally.

- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

- Previous experience as a payroll administrator, with broad knowledge of in-house payroll processes.

- Experience working with non-UK payrolls, alongside strong vendor management skills.

- Confident using AI tools and effective prompting to improve processes, enhance efficiency and make better use of technology.

- ADP Globalview/ SAP payroll systems experience

- A recognised payroll or accounting qualification or working towards one.

- Additional language skills relevant to supporting payrolls across the EMEA region.
