Role
We are looking for a senior ABAP Technical QA Lead to review and assure the quality of ABAP developments delivered by external development factories/integrators. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong ABAP programming expertise, SAP HANA/SQL knowledge, and the ability to lead and coordinate multiple development partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical QA reviews of ABAP developments and code.
- Assess code quality, maintainability, performance, technical design and standards.
- Identify technical risks, issues and improvement areas.
- Provide technical feedback and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate multiple external/offshore development teams and integrators.
- Act as senior technical point of contact for development partners.
- Challenge technical decisions and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Establish consistent development and QA practices.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring.
Mandatory Requirements
- 15+ years of SAP/ABAP experience.
- Expert-level ABAP programming skills.
- SAP HANA mandatory.
- Strong SQL mandatory.
- Proven experience in ABAP code review / Technical QA.
- Experience leading/coordinating development teams or external integrators.
- Experience with offshore/nearshore development partners.
- Strong leadership, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
