Company Description Sonia Morgan Podiatry Limited is a premier podiatry practice serving the community in and around Lytham St Annes. The practice is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, podiatry services that support mobility, comfort, and long-term health. Clients range from individuals with chronic conditions to active people seeking preventative care and performance support. The team values professionalism, clear communication, and a patient-centred approach to treatment and ongoing care. We specialise in MSK conditions and the provision of customised orthotics.

Role Description This position is based at Sonia Morgan Podiatry Limited's premises in Lytham St Annes and is to provide comprehensive clinical assessment and treatment for a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include: conducting patient consultations, diagnosing issues, developing treatment plans, and delivering podiatric interventions such as nail and skin care, biomechanical assessments, and orthotic prescriptions. The role also involves managing diabetic foot care, monitoring risk factors, educating patients about self-care, and maintaining detailed clinical records in line with professional standards. The Podiatrist will collaborate with other health professionals when necessary, support practice protocols, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for all patients.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in Podiatry and in general medicine, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of foot and lower limb conditions.

- Proficiency in Biomechanics and Orthotics, including gait analysis, identifying functional issues, and designing or recommending appropriate orthotic devices is desirable but, for the right candidate, we would provide education and training.

- Experience in managing diabetes-related foot health, including risk assessment, preventative care, and treatment of complications.

- Recognised qualification in Podiatry (or equivalent) and current professional registration with the appropriate regulatory bodies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and build trust with a diverse patient base.

- Strong record-keeping and organisational abilities, with attention to clinical detail and adherence to safety and infection-control standards.

- Ability to work independently in a clinic setting, use clinical equipment confidently, and contribute positively to practice growth and service quality.

- Previous experience in private practice or community healthcare would be beneficial, as is ongoing commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
