About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team and support the design, deployment, operation, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure across campus, data centre, and branch environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including routing and switching, wireless solutions, SD-WAN, network security, and identity-based access control. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network services across the enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure across campus, data centre, and branch environments.
- Manage and support Cisco Wireless LAN environments, including WLCs, access points, RF optimization, wireless security, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Implement and support Cisco ISE, 802.1X authentication, and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
- Manage Cisco DNA Center for network automation, assurance, policy-based provisioning, inventory management, and operational analytics.
- Support Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching environments, ensuring high availability and optimal network performance.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco IOS and NX-OS based devices.
- Design, deploy, and support Cisco SD-WAN solutions for secure and resilient branch and data centre connectivity.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching, wireless, authentication, security, and network connectivity.
- Monitor network health, availability, utilization, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Implement network security best practices, including segmentation, access control, policy enforcement, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, maintenance activities, lifecycle management, and infrastructure refresh projects.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support network-related projects and continuous infrastructure improvements.
Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering, operations, and support.
- Strong experience with Cisco IOS and NX-OS.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless solutions, including WLCs and Access Points.
- Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), 802.1X, and NAC.
- Experience with Cisco DNA Center.
- Experience with SolarWinds or similar network monitoring solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IPsec VPNs and enterprise network security principles.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud architecture.
- Experience working with ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across complex enterprise network environments.
- Experience with network monitoring, performance analysis, automation, and operational tools.
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
