⭐️ The role

We’re looking for a Matchmaker in Residence to join our team and help us reinvent what matchmaking looks like in the age of AI.

You’ll be at the intersection of people, psychology, culture and product. Part matchmaker, part relationship expert, part product thinker, you’ll work closely with our members to understand what makes people click, and turn those insights into a better dating experience for everyone.

You’re naturally curious about people. You have strong intuition, high emotional intelligence, and you’re fascinated by attraction, relationships and human behavior.

Most importantly, you believe finding the right person should feel less like browsing a marketplace — and more like being introduced by someone who truly gets you.

💪 Key responsibilities

- Match members by understanding their personalities, preferences, lifestyles and relationship goals, going beyond what’s written on a profile

- Conduct thoughtful 1:1 conversations with members to understand who they are, what they’re looking for and what might be holding them back

- Curate and recommend high-quality, intentional introductions

- Follow the journey after each match, collecting feedback and understanding why two people clicked or didn’t

- Develop a deep understanding of the signals behind compatibility, chemistry and attraction

- Act as the human intelligence layer behind our AI, helping our product and engineering teams translate matchmaking intuition into scalable product experiences

- Identify patterns across hundreds of conversations and turn them into actionable product insights

- Help define our matchmaking philosophy, principles and playbook

- Shape how we communicate with members throughout their dating journey, from their first conversation to their first date

- Stay deeply connected to dating culture, relationship trends and how modern singles actually meet, connect and fall in love

- Experiment with new matchmaking concepts, experiences and formats that make dating feel more human, exciting and magical

- You’ve worked as a matchmaker

- You’re exceptionally good with people, they open up to you quickly, and you know how to ask the right questions

- You have strong emotional intelligence and can read between the lines

- You’re genuinely fascinated by relationships, attraction, psychology and human behavior

- You’re an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
