About the role
Blue Arrow Consulting builds software and AI products for clients in Australia, the US and the UK. We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to work with us on a project basis, building automation and LLM systems for real clients with real deadlines.
This is hands-on engineering work. You will get a clear brief, direct access to the leadership team, and no layers of management between you and the decision.
What you'll be building
- Workflow automation that holds up in production, using n8n, Make and custom code where the no-code layer runs out
- LLM systems that do a specific job: RAG over messy client documents, agents that call real APIs, document extraction pipelines, intake and support bots
- Integrations into the tools clients already run, including CRMs, Google Sheets, Airtable, Supabase, Slack, WhatsApp, HubSpot and GoHighLevel
- Voice agents, if that is an area you have worked in
What we're looking for
- At least two automations you have shipped for a paying client that are still in use today. Tutorials and personal demos do not count.
- Working knowledge of Python or TypeScript. No-code is where you start, not where you stop.
- The ability to read a vague, half-written client brief and come back with the questions that make it sharper.
- Written English strong enough that we would put you in front of a client.
Nice to have
- Experience with vector databases, evals, or agent frameworks
- Anything you have built and maintained yourself, end to end
