About the Role
The Sr Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records up to the finalisation of accounts. This role involves preparing and filing GST returns, handling TDS and TCS compliance, performing bank reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. The Sr Accountant will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and stay updated with changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records up to finalisation of accounts.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Reconcile GSTR 1, 2B, and 3B with books of accounts and provide details of Annual GST Return and Annual GST Audit details to Chartered Accountants for filing.
- Reply to queries raised by the GST department and prepare GST Scrutiny for submission to CA.
- Handle TDS and TCS compliance, including verification of TDS liabilities on a monthly basis, paying TDS monthly, filing quarterly TDS Return, and filing Revised TDS Return.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Reconcile Receivable and Payable ledger accounts.
- Reply to queries raised by Statutory Auditor for finalisation of audit.
- Prepare Balance sheet for company for submission to Statutory Auditor.
- Prepare Tax Audit report details and submit to Statutory Auditor.
- Utilize knowledge of advanced Excel and related Excel formulas.
- Utilize e-commerce experience to streamline financial processes (preferred).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy.
- Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and via email.

- Experience in preparing Tax Audit reports.
- Advanced Excel skills. - E-commerce experience (preferred).
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to stay updated with changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

What We Offer
