LNG Finance Advisor - Global Energy Group
Overview
This is a leading global player in the energy and commodities sector, with a strong presence across the international energy value chain and across diverse commodities. As the business continues to expand across the region, it is seeking a commercially minded FP&A professional to help strengthen financial stewardship, performance management, and strategic decision support capabilities for its LNG business.
Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, the LNG finance advisor will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across multiple business segments. The successful candidate will partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver insightful management reporting, evaluate business performance, support capital allocation decisions, and develop scenario analyses that inform strategic initiatives. This role offers broad exposure to international operations and the opportunity to influence key commercial and investment decisions in a fast-evolving environment. In addition, the individual will contribute to process enhancements, reporting automation, and the continuous development of FP&A frameworks and governance practices.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or a related discipline, with around 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate planning, or performance management, preferably within the energy, LNG, commodities, trading, or related sectors. Budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial modelling skills are viewed favorably. Candidates should have a solid understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, investment evaluation, and business performance drivers. Exposure to international business environments and experience working with regional or global stakeholders will be highly regarded.
