Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to coordinate and deliver multiple temporary and permanent power infrastructure projects across multiple U.S. sites. This role will oversee projects involving utility upgrades, generator installations, switchgear, air permitting, and electrical infrastructure from initial planning through commissioning and handover.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in power infrastructure or electrical systems, along with the ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee multiple power infrastructure projects across the U.S.
- Manage projects through feasibility, design, procurement, permitting, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, consultants, utilities, and cross-functional teams.
- Review electrical designs, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and power distribution configurations.
- Oversee temporary and permanent natural gas and diesel generator deployments.
- Manage utility upgrades, transformer installations, switchgear deployments, and service upgrades.
- Manage switchgear procurement, specifications, lead times, testing, and delivery.
- Coordinate air permit applications, submissions, agency reviews, and approvals.
- Track project progress and identify technical, permitting, procurement, and schedule risks.
- Drive resolution of critical path issues and escalate risks when necessary.
- Ensure project deliverables meet applicable technical specifications and electrical codes.
- Provide regular project updates, executive summaries, and reporting to leadership.
- Manage vendor performance and hold contractors accountable to timelines and deliverables.
- Travel to project sites during critical installation and commissioning phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Energy Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of project management experience in electrical infrastructure, power generation, utility, or related energy projects.
- Experience managing 10+ concurrent projects.
- Experience with electrical infrastructure, generators, transformers, switchgear, and utility coordination.
- Experience with switchgear procurement and delivery.
- Experience with air permitting for stationary power generation equipment.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and execution skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities under compressed timelines.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PE, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with large-scale industrial or logistics facility power infrastructure.
- Knowledge of natural gas pipeline design, metering, and pressure regulation.
- Experience with CEQA compliance or non-attainment area permitting.
- Experience managing generator rental or procurement proposals.
- Experience with commissioning and energization of critical facility power systems.
- OSHA 30 certification.
