Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures adherence to financial guidelines and standards.
- Reviews monthly report for complex order accounting per FERC guidelines to ensure O&M and capital costs are accurately allocated.
- Audits and approves vendor invoices for accuracy and SOX compliance.
- Prepares and processes journal entries in SAP.
- Corresponds with vendors to gather monthly accrual data, prepares proper accrual documentation, and submits to Accounts Payable.
- Audits data dashboard daily for order O&M costs that belong to capital per FERC guidelines.
Qualifications
Education
- Requires 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
- Requires 2-5 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Required: Knowledge of accounting practices and compliance requirements.
- Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present financial analysis to management.
- Required: Strong team player.
Work Schedule
HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 4 days per week onsite.
