About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Generative AI Engineer to join our growing technology team in Cincinnati, OH. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in Generative AI, React, and modern Front-End development who is passionate about building intelligent, scalable, and user-centric AI-powered solutions.
As a Gen AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI applications that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), advanced AI frameworks, and intuitive front-end interfaces. You will work closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver innovative AI-driven experiences that create measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Generative AI applications using modern AI frameworks and technologies.
- Build scalable and responsive front-end applications using React and related technologies.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI services into enterprise-grade applications.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces that enhance AI-powered user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Optimize AI model performance, scalability, and response quality.
- Implement API integrations and connect AI models with enterprise platforms and data sources.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning of AI applications.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and front-end technologies.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and software development best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8-15 years of overall software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and solutions.
- Expertise in building front-end applications using React.js.
- Solid experience in modern Front-End development, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience integrating AI/ML models and APIs into production applications.
- Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI application architectures.
- Experience working with REST APIs and cloud-based services.
- Knowledge of software design principles, microservices, and scalable application architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
