About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer in Test to join our Corporate Services Technology (Finance Technology) team. You’ll be part of a smaller QE team supporting a large number of developers, so independence, initiative, and strong technical expertise are key. This role requires hands-on automation testing, test planning, and collaboration across Agile teams to ensure quality is engineered into every product.
Must-Have Skills:
- Automation testing expertise
- Test plans, test cases, and project timelines
- Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Ready API, Rest Assured
- Independent, self-motivated, and proactive mindset
Technical & Behavioral Expertise:
- 7+ years building test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Ready API, Rest Assured)
- Strong programming background: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Spring, Web Services, Angular, SQL
- CI/CD pipeline integration and quality gates
- Agile methodology experience
- Requirement analysis, defect tracking, test reporting, and signoff
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Financial industry experience
- SaaS product testing exposure
- Integration testing across systems (flat files, APIs)
- Relational database experience
- Jira/Xray familiarity
- AWS knowledge
