POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead the development and implementation of automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, validating web, mobile, and backend applications, and leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance testing efficiency. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality engineering, automation, and continuous improvement in modern software development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Test Automation & Quality Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks.
- Build and execute automated regression, API, UI, and end-to-end test suites.
- Ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and efficient automated test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects while working closely with engineering teams to resolve issues.
AI-Powered Quality Assurance
- Build AI-powered agents and automation solutions for testing, bug detection, and quality validation.
- Leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency, defect analysis, and test coverage.
- Automate QA processes using AI technologies to accelerate software delivery.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and recommend improvements to QA processes and automation strategies.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in test planning, requirements reviews, and release validation activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA standards, automation frameworks, and testing methodologies.
- Support the delivery of high-quality software through effective test automation and quality assurance practices.
Quality & Release Excellence
- Improve release confidence through comprehensive automated testing.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) by integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
- Promote quality-first practices and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA Automation or Software Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and Postman.
- Strong understanding of API testing, mobile application testing, and web application testing.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
AI & Automation Skills
- Proficient in AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience using AI technologies to automate QA processes and improve testing efficiency.
- Ability to build AI-assisted testing workflows, quality validation processes, and bug detection automations.
- Strong interest in applying AI to modern software quality engineering.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
