Job Description:
Trademark Filing & Prosecution:
Assist in handling, coordinating, drafting, amending, and compiling trademark applications, registration documentations, licensing agreements, and assignment documents.
Search, Research & Overseas Coordination:
Conduct local and international trademark searches and IP database surveys. Liaise with overseas IP agents/associates to coordinate foreign filings, renewals, search reports, and prosecution matters.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive trademark search reports, classification analysis, and official filing documentations.
Portfolio & Deadline Management:
Prepare and maintain system records, monitor official deadlines, handle reporting, follow up, and assist in responding to Office Actions/objections with respective government departments and IP offices.
Administrative Support:
Responsible for general administrative duties and ad-hoc IP matters as and when required.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Law, or any other relevant discipline.
* Prior experience in local trademark administration, searching, and filing procedures.
* Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation.
* Must be proficient in Mandarin (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients, associates, or IP registries, alongside English.
* Familiarity with overseas/international trademark processes (e.g., Madrid System, direct foreign filings, and cross-border searches) is an added advantage.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AI-assisted tools for work productivity.
