Transportation Operations Manager (Standardization & Safety)

What You'll Do

- Responsible for building transportation standardization system and transportation safety management system. Oversee implementation of standardized processes and safety risk prevention, organize special optimization and mechanism iteration, drive compliant and efficient operations of carriers and front‑line teams, and achieve both efficiency and safety targets for transportation business.

- Operation Standard Management Develop and update SOPs for full transportation procedures covering trunk line, feeder line, transfer and distribution links. Optimize process hand‑offs, route planning and capacity matching efficiency. Monitor process execution by on‑site teams and carriers, correct non‑standard operations and resolve process bottlenecks.

- Transportation Safety Control Enforce transportation safety regulations covering vehicle safety, cargo loading safety, transit driving safety, driver operation safety and fire emergency response. Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard checks, maintain risk records and push closed‑loop rectification. Stop unsafe operations to prevent safety incidents.

- Optimization & Improvement Collect data on transportation efficiency, process gaps and safety hazards, and analyze root causes of process bottlenecks and safety risks. Lead special optimization projects for efficiency improvement, process simplification and hazard remediation. Verify improvement results and roll out proven practices.

- Emergency & Incident Handling Formulate transportation safety emergency plans and process exception response plans. Organize safety drills. Coordinate on‑site responses for emergencies including transportation safety accidents, vehicle breakdowns and transit congestion, conduct cause investigation and submit follow‑up reports.

- Cross‑team Collaboration & Enablement Engage carriers and fleets to implement operation standards and safety requirements. Work with safety department to ensure compliance, push hazard rectification and conduct joint incident investigation. Collaborate with scheduling and capacity procurement teams to optimize routes and capacity allocation. Deliver process training and safety awareness sessions for front‑line staff and carriers.

About You

- Industry Experience: 5+ years

- Position Experience: 3+ years

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above

- Language: Proficient in Chinese and English

- Professional Skills: Experienced in building transportation standard systems, managing safety frameworks and leading special projects. Familiar with end‑to‑end operation logic and safety compliance requirements for trunk / feeder transportation. Candidates with prior experience in transportation efficiency improvement and safety system construction are preferred. Familiar with iTMS system. Strong capability in standardization promotion and risk control.
