We are partnering with a leading regional organisation in the financial sector to hire an Operational Resilience Director to strengthen enterprise‑wide operational resilience, business continuity, and disruption response capabilities. As an Operational Resilience Director, you will play a senior leadership role in reducing operational disruption, improving preparedness, and ensuring the organisation can respond effectively to incidents while meeting regulatory and governance expectations.

Responsibilities include:
- Leading the organisation’s operational resilience and business continuity agenda, ensuring resilience priorities are aligned with broader business objectives and risk considerations.
- Overseeing enterprise-wide resilience assessments and planning activities, helping business units identify vulnerabilities and improve readiness for disruption scenarios.
- Directing continuity planning, simulation exercises, and response preparedness activities so that critical services and processes can recover effectively during major incidents.
- Driving awareness, training, and stakeholder engagement initiatives to embed resilience practices across the organisation and strengthen response capability.
- Monitoring governance, regulatory, and audit expectations, providing clear management reporting, and leading ongoing enhancement initiatives based on lessons learned and emerging practices.
As an experienced Operational Resilience professional, you would have:
- Significant experience in operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, enterprise risk, or related disciplines within large, complex organisations, ideally in financial services.
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide resilience or continuity programmes, including planning, testing, and cross-functional incident response coordination.
- Strong understanding of governance, regulatory, and control expectations relevant to resilience and operational risk management.
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders, committees, and business leaders, with the ability to communicate clearly and influence decision-making across the organisation.
- Strong leadership, programme management, and continuous improvement capabilities, with a track record of building practical frameworks and driving adoption across diverse teams.
