Role Description The Owner role is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing the overall direction, operations, and performance of the business. Daily tasks include setting strategic goals, managing budgets and financial health, monitoring key performance metrics, and making decisions on services, pricing, and partnerships. The Owner coordinates with any contractors or vendors, ensures compliance with relevant regulations, and maintains quality standards for products or services. This role also involves building and maintaining client relationships, guiding marketing and sales efforts, and continuously assessing risks and opportunities to support sustainable growth. The Owner works independently, using digital tools to manage operations, communicate with stakeholders, and document business processes.

- Candidates should possess financial and operational skills, such as budgeting, basic accounting knowledge, resource allocation, and process improvement.

- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently in a remote setting.
- Candidates should possess digital literacy skills, including proficiency with common business software, online communication tools, and basic data analysis or reporting tools.
- Relevant experience in owning, managing, or leading a small business, startup, or project is beneficial, as is familiarity with the industry in which the business operates.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, management, entrepreneurship, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required.
