Position Summary
The Director will lead the development of an innovative, AI-powered platform designed to help adolescent girls and young women who have experienced significant adversity, unsafe circumstances, or life-changing challenges build the skills, confidence, and resources needed to begin a safe and independent new life chapter.
This position combines technology, program development, education, and trauma-informed support. The Director will translate the organization’s mission into accessible digital programs that help participants develop foundational life skills, career readiness, financial literacy, communication skills, emotional resilience, and pathways to education and employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a secure, user-friendly AI learning and empowerment platform.
- Develop programs focused on life skills, financial literacy, digital safety, education, career readiness, communication, and emotional resilience.
- Oversee testing, implementation, system maintenance, user support, and platform improvements.
- Use program data and participant feedback to evaluate effectiveness and improve the platform.
- Ensure technology remains supportive of human relationships and does not replace qualified counselors, social workers, educators, or crisis-response professionals.
- Apply trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices throughout the platform and programs.
- Collaborate with technology professionals, educators, social workers, counselors, community partners, employers, and individuals with lived experience.
- Establish appropriate safeguards for participant privacy, data security, crisis response, and responsible AI use.
- Measure program effectiveness and use participant feedback to improve services.
Qualifications
- Experience or education in social work, counseling, coaching, education, youth development, workforce development, or a related field.
- Tech Savvy experience with ability to develop skills in digital learning, product development, or program implementation.
- Strong communication, project-management, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of trauma-informed practices, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
- Genuine passion for helping young women build safe, independent, and fulfilling futures.
This position provides AI Technology program development to assist in education, coaching, and skill development resource navigation to the participants.
