Role Description The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities at project sites in Kanchipuram, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in line with design specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors, workers, and contractors, checking drawings and measurements, monitoring materials usage, and maintaining site documentation and reports. The role involves inspecting ongoing work for quality, assisting in resolving technical issues, and supporting structural and civil engineering requirements as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanchipuram, requiring regular presence at the construction site and close collaboration with the project team.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have strong on-site and field-based experience, with the ability to manage day-to-day construction activities effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid communication skills to coordinate with workers, contractors, and project stakeholders, and to maintain clear site documentation.
- Candidates should have 5-6 as Site engineer and experience in quality control, including inspecting work, verifying materials, and ensuring compliance with safety and construction standards.
- Candidates should bring knowledge of structural engineering principles and practical civil engineering experience relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
- A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred, along with basic proficiency in reading technical drawings and using standard construction tools and software.
- Ability to work safely under site conditions, follow instructions, solve practical problems, and adapt to project timelines and priorities.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial construction projects in a similar role is an advantage.
