Role Description The Fusion Middleware Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Oracle Fusion Middleware tools and related technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and configuring services, managing integrations between applications, troubleshooting performance and scalability issues, and ensuring solutions align with security and compliance standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, optimizing existing middleware components, and preparing technical documentation. This is a contract role based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a combination of onsite and work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, ideally in middleware or integration projects.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with languages commonly used in Fusion Middleware environments (such as Java).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware products (e.g., SOA Suite, OSB, WebLogic) and related integration patterns.
- Knowledge of APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), XML/JSON, and integration best practices.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and produce clear documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in HR technology or enterprise systems integration is an advantage.
