Overview
A growing organization is seeking a senior-level Wireless Network Engineer with strong hands-on Wi-Fi expertise.
This is not a traditional route/switch role. The focus is heavily on wireless troubleshooting, RF design, Meraki, and supporting a large, high-density multi-site environment.
The role is roughly 80% operational troubleshooting and 20% project work.
Must Haves
- Strong Cisco Meraki wireless experience
- Advanced Wi-Fi and RF troubleshooting
- Cell sizing, radio profiles, power, channels, and AP placement
- Experience with 5 GHz and 6 GHz environments
- High-density wireless experience
- Ability to troubleshoot independently
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Proactive, hands-on mindset
Environment
- Cisco Meraki
- Some Cisco enterprise wireless
- Modern Wi-Fi environments, including newer wireless standards
- Large multi-site footprint
- High-density user environments
- Continued location growth and expansion
What They Want
Someone who can walk into a difficult Wi-Fi issue, investigate independently, and identify the root cause.
The right person will also look beyond the immediate problem, identify improvements, document processes, and help mentor other technical team members.
