We are looking for a COBOL Production Support Engineer to support and enhance a core banking deposit platform.
馃攽 Key Skills:
- Strong COBOL programming, debugging & development
- Production Support & incident troubleshooting
- Control-M batch scheduling & monitoring
- Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
- Oracle PL/SQL & SQL
- Banking / Accounting knowledge
- Experience with batch processing and nightly production runs
- OpenVMS DCL is highly preferred
- Jira, SDLC & change management experience

- Monitor and troubleshoot nightly batch jobs
- Investigate production incidents and processing issues
- Develop system enhancements and automation scripts
- Extract and analyze account, balance & transaction data
- Support testing, releases and change requests
- Maintain documentation and track tasks in Jira
