Duration: 1-Year Contract
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite – Lab Environment
Schedule: Swing Shift – Wednesday to Saturday, 3:00 PM–2:00 AM (4×10-hour shifts)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support to support day-to-day QC laboratory operations. This role will be responsible for sample management, sample shipment, documentation, and other laboratory support activities.
The technician will collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Analytical Development, Manufacturing, Material Management, and Corporate teams to ensure samples and QC activities are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming samples, verify documentation, and enter sample information into LIMS.
- Support sample receipt, processing, and aliquoting for release, stability testing, and retain samples.
- Label, store, organize, and maintain samples according to established procedures and storage requirements.
- Coordinate sample transfers to internal and external testing laboratories.
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and restocking of sample storage areas.
- Collaborate with Material Management, QA, QC, and other cross-functional teams regarding sampling, testing, and disposition requirements.
- Manage and complete QC laboratory shipping activities.
- Review routine QC documentation, including sample chain-of-custody forms, processing logs, logbooks, and other records.
- Assist with deviation and investigation activities as needed.
- Provide updates during daily and weekly team meetings.
- Participate in Lean Lab and Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Follow all applicable safety, quality, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, OR
- Associate’s Degree + 2 years of experience working in Quality Control or biopharmaceutical laboratories, preferably in an FDA-regulated laboratory, OR
- High School Diploma + 3 years of experience working in Quality Control or biopharmaceutical laboratories, preferably in an FDA-regulated laboratory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical application of GMP/cGMP within a QC laboratory.
- Experience with LIMS and laboratory sample management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with sample receipt, processing, aliquoting, labeling, storage, shipping, and chain-of-custody documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio, and related applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Flexible to changing priorities and workload requirements.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Work Schedule
This is a 100% onsite position in a laboratory environment.
The team operates 7 days a week with extended, overlapping shifts.
Assigned Shift:
Wednesday–Saturday | 3:00 PM–2:00 AM | 4×10 schedule

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a QC or biopharmaceutical laboratory, particularly in a GMP/FDA-regulated environment, with exposure to LIMS, sample management, laboratory documentation, sample shipping, and QC support activities.
