Role Description
Full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. This role bridges strategic planning and hands-on technical execution. As a discipline specialist skilled across SEO, GEO, and AEO, you will take ownership of tier-1 client accounts, solve technical and semantic indexing challenges, structure answer-ready content, and guide Senior SEO Specialists in daily campaign delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution & GEO/AEO Integration: Plan and execute end-to-end campaigns, structuring content with direct-answer modules, bulleted summaries, and FAQ schema to maximize inclusion in AI Overviews and featured snippets.
- Technical & Semantic Optimization: Conduct deep-dive technical audits (indexing, JS rendering, crawl budget, Schema syntax, robots.txt permissions for AI crawlers) and resolve complex site issues.
- Entity & Off-Page Authority: Lead link building, digital outreach, and brand mention strategies that build domain authority and LLM citation trust across high-value third-party platforms.
- Search Performance Analysis: Monitor performance metrics across Google Search Console, GA4, and AI tracking tools, diagnosing algorithm updates and optimizing for conversational queries.
- Quality Assurance & Mentorship: Review campaign deliverables created by Senior SEO Specialists to ensure high standards of technical precision, keyword alignment, and GEO/AEO compliance.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of dedicated SEO experience in an agency environment, with practical experience implementing GEO and AEO techniques.
- Solid hands-on experience in entity building, structured data implementation, and semantic content structuring.
- Track record of winning featured snippets, direct answer placements, and competitive keyword rankings.
- Proficient in Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, Google Search Console, GTM, and emerging AI tracking software.
- Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, and client-facing communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or related discipline.
