Role Description The AI Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven software solutions, working closely with product and data teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust systems.
Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining QUBO Qaas models, integrating AI components into existing applications, writing clean and testable code, and optimizing performance and scalability in production environments.
The role also involves conducting Stride model tuning, evaluating model performance, performing code reviews, and contributing to documentation and technical design discussions.
This is a full-time remote role, requiring effective collaboration across time zones and proactive communication with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and Software Development practices, including data structures, algorithms, and version control.
- Practical experience with D wave QUBO model formulation, Stride Solver, Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including training, validation, and deploying models to production.
- Hands-on knowledge of TSP, Knapsack problems, Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools for building and improving language-based applications.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in AI (such as Python, Java, or C++), and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Ability to design and consume APIs, work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and use containerization or orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with data processing, feature engineering, and evaluation metrics, as well as working with structured and unstructured data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting with consulting firms.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
