Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 8–12 years of overall QA/Test Automation experience.
• 6+ years of strong Tricentis Tosca experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable Tricentis Tosca test automation architecture and frameworks.
• Define automation strategy, standards, governance, reusable components, and best practices.
• Architect end-to-end automation solutions for Web, API, SAP, Salesforce, desktop and enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain reusable Tosca Modules, TestCases, TestCase Templates and ExecutionLists.
• Design Tosca project structure, workspace/repository strategy and automation architecture.
• Configure and manage Tosca Server, Tosca Commander and Distributed Execution (DEX/AOS) environments.
• Define test execution strategy across multiple environments and parallel execution requirements.
• Integrate Tosca with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab or similar platforms. Tricentis currently supports CI/CD integration through options including Elastic Execution Grid, Tosca Execution Client and Tosca Server Execution API.

• Implement API automation using Tosca API Scan, including REST/SOAP and OpenAPI/Swagger-based services.

• Define and implement test data management and data-driven automation strategies.
• Establish automation coding/design standards and conduct peer reviews.
• Analyze application architecture and identify suitable candidates for automation.
• Drive automation feasibility assessments, PoCs and framework improvements.
• Perform Tosca version upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements.
• Integrate Tosca with external testing/ALM tools such as qTest, Jira, Azure DevOps and CI/CD platforms.
• Monitor automation execution, investigate failures and provide root-cause analysis.
• Optimize test suites to improve execution time, stability and maintainability.
• Establish automation metrics, dashboards and reporting.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, architects, QA leads and development teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Tosca engineers and automation teams.
• Review automation deliverables and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Support production releases, regression cycles and critical project deliveries.
• Handle technical escalations and provide solutions for complex automation challenges.
