Lead Full Stack Engineer + Team Lead | .NET + React | $180k-$205k + Super
Sydney Hybrid | East Coast considered for the Lead Full Stack role
I’m hiring for two separate senior engineering roles with an established Australian SaaS business.
Both roles are genuinely full stack, working across C#/.NET and React, but they suit two different types of senior engineer.
1. Lead Full Stack Engineer
$180k-$200k + super
I’m looking for a high-output engineer who can take an ambiguous product problem and own it from idea through to production.
You’ll be:
- Building across C#/.NET and React
- Owning complex features end to end
- Working roughly 60% backend / 40% frontend
- Designing APIs, backend services and modern React interfaces
- Mentoring other engineers and raising technical standards
- Working closely with Product on approach and delivery
- Using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar as part of your normal engineering workflow
Around 70% of the work is new product development, rather than simply maintaining an existing platform.
Sydney is preferred, although exceptional East Coast candidates may also be considered.
2. Team Lead
$190k-$205k + super
You’ll lead approximately 5-6 engineers, with the position expected to be around 70% leadership / 30% hands-on.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Coaching and developing engineers
- Improving team performance and engineering standards
- Owning delivery and technical outcomes
- Identifying problems and actively driving solutions
- Working closely with Product and engineering leadership
- Remaining technically credible and contributing to design and engineering when required
Tech environment
- C# / .NET
- React
- Angular across the legacy frontend
- AI-assisted engineering with tools such as Claude Code
- Established SaaS product with significant new feature development
Both roles will suit people who enjoy ownership, ambiguity and solving difficult problems, rather than waiting for someone else to define every step.
