The Opportunity

Join the Coastal GasLink and Project Finance Team as a Financial Analyst and begin your career supporting a nation‑building infrastructure project.

This entry‑level role is designed for new grads or early‑career candidates who is eager to build a strong foundation in project finance operations, cash management, lender compliance, and governance within a complex, large‑scale construction environment.

Reporting to the Manager, Coastal GasLink and Project Finance within the Corporate Finance department, you will support the team through execution‑focused financial processes, coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders, and preparation of recurring reporting materials.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare and execute monthly cash calls, including invoice creation and support, preparation of information for bank wires, confirmation of receipt of funds, and day‑to‑day monitoring of liquidity

- Support short‑term cash forecasting and liquidity management by monitoring 30, 60, and 90‑day cash requirements, assisting with tracking of funding sources and uses throughout construction, and supporting monthly credit facility draws, including preparation of draw packages, notices, and reconciliation of forecasted costs

- Prepare and update monthly, quarterly, and annual governance materials, including summaries, schedules, supporting documentation, and compliance reports and certificates.

- Liaise with cross functional teams across the organization, as well as external stakeholders and advisors

- Support corporate areas with short-term and long-term planning

- Identify and lead process improvement opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related analytical field

- 2+ years of relevant experience, including internships, co-op terms, or new-graduate roles

- A combination of education and experience may be considered

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong Excel skills with an interest in financial analysis and reporting

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing tasks

- Clear written and verbal communication skills

- Treasury or capital markets experience

- Exposure to cash flow forecasting, budgeting, or financial reporting through coursework or work experience

- Comfort working with large data sets, templates, and recurring reporting processes

- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and manage multiple competing priorities

- Strong business aptitude and ability to be innovative with creative problem solving

- General understanding of the pipeline and energy infrastructure business
