As Manager/Senior Manager, you will craft compelling content that highlights HTX’s innovations and expertise, translating complex science and technology topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) into engaging stories for offline and online platforms, including web and social media.
What You Will Be Working On
- Content creation: Write engaging long- and short-form content for platforms such as web and social media, including tech features, explainers, profiles, and video scripts.
- Interviewing & research: Conduct interviews with subject matter experts and leadership to produce insightful and engaging written content.
- Science & technology storytelling: Translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives for a broad audience.
- Ideation: Proactively contribute ideas that would make for engaging content tailored to different public-facing as well as internal platforms.
- Uphold HTX’s brand image and ensure consistency in tone and messaging across all digital touchpoints.
What We Are Looking For
- Tertiary qualification.
- Strong writing and editorial skills, with proven track record of translating complex topics into content for web, social media, and digital platforms.
- Ability to visualise and present stories in an engaging manner using multimedia elements.
- Experience conducting interviews and turning conversations into compelling stories.
- Strong grasp of digital content trends and best practices.
- Familiarity with AI tools for writing, content ideation, and editing.
- Passion for storytelling.
- Creative mind that can think outside of the box and push the envelope of content creation.
- Curious and analytical, with the ability to develop strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Proactive and independent, with a drive to explore new content approaches and tools.
- Digitally savvy and adaptable.
- Fun-loving, positive learning attitude and enthusiasm for using technology to improve processes and outcomes.
All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
