About the role:
We’re looking for a seasoned Engineer who ideally comes from a Software Development background before moving deeper into Cloud, DevOps or Platform Engineering. The specific development language isn't particularly important, what matters is having strong software engineering fundamentals and an automation first mindset.
You’ll be working across areas including:
- AWS architecture and engineering across modern cloud environments
- AWS Landing Zone design and builds
- Cloud migration and modernisation projects
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code, including reusable modules and patterns
- Kubernetes / EKS and containerised workloads
- CI/CD and end-to-end infrastructure automation
- Platform engineering and developer enablement
- AWS security, networking, IAM and governance
- Serverless and event-driven AWS architectures
- Building infrastructure and platforms supporting AWS Bedrock and Generative AI workloads
About you:
- AWS - deep hands-on engineering experience
- Terraform - strong Infrastructure as Code capability
- Kubernetes / EKS
- AWS Landing Zones / multi-account environments
- Cloud migrations and modernisation
- CI/CD and end-to-end automation
- Containers and serverless AWS services
- Software engineering / development fundamentals
- AWS Bedrock - recent commercial experience is highly desirable
Experience with AWS Control Tower, Organizations, IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, CloudWatch and related AWS services would all be beneficial.
This is a strong opportunity for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer who enjoys remaining hands on while working across modern Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering and Generative AI projects.
