We’re hiring an AI Agent Builder to create customer-facing AI agents for real businesses.

This is not a traditional software engineering role. We’re looking for someone with strong product and UX thinking, good design taste, and the ability to turn an idea into a working product quickly using AI, vibe coding, and no-code tools.

Our application process is a little different.

Instead of a traditional take-home assignment, we want to see what you can actually build.

As part of the selection process, applicants will participate in Agent Games, our online hackathon taking place September 11–14, and build an AI agent with Agentplace according to the hackathon rules.

The Best Agent winner will get the opportunity to interview with the Agentplace team, and we’ll also be looking closely at other standout builders throughout the event.

For us, this is a much better way to see how you think about a business problem, approach product and UX, and turn an idea into something real that people can actually use.

About Agentplace

Agentplace is a platform for building AI agents that serve businesses and their customers.

These agents interact directly with customers: they answer questions, help people choose the right product or service, book appointments, handle support requests, collect information, take payments, and deliver services online.

We’re building the future of the agentic web, and we’re looking for someone who can build AI agents for our customers.

Agentplace is based in San Francisco and has been featured in VentureBeat, USA Today, and Fast Company.

About the role

We’re looking for an AI Agent Builder who can create beautiful, usable, customer-facing AI agents on Agentplace.

You’ll take a client’s business, understand how it works and what its customers need, then design the interface and customer journey, build AI flows, connect integrations, test everything, and publish the finished agent.

You might currently be a Framer or Webflow developer, product designer who codes, vibe coder, no-code builder, automation specialist, or junior solutions engineer. Your current title matters less than your ability to understand a problem and build a good solution.

What you’ll do

• Dive into a client’s business and understand what their customers actually need

• Design interfaces and end-to-end user journeys

• Build AI flows that answer questions, guide customers toward the right service, collect information, and move them toward booking or payment

• Connect calendars, payment systems, CRMs, messaging tools, and other services through APIs

• Use vibe coding, AI, and no-code tools to build and iterate quickly

• Test real customer scenarios and improve the agent based on how people actually use it

• Take a client brief from idea to a polished, working, published AI agent

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a generalist who combines product thinking, UX/UI, design sensibility, and enough technical knowledge to make things work.

You’ll probably be a strong fit if you:

• Have strong product and UX instincts and understand what makes a good user journey

• Have a good visual eye and care about how the finished product looks and feels

• Have experience with vibe coding, no-code tools, AI builders, Framer, Webflow, or similar tools

• Can move quickly from an idea to a working product

• Have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs

• Are comfortable connecting different tools and figuring things out as you go

• Can work independently without waiting for a detailed specification

• Like building, testing, iterating, and shipping

You don’t need to be a traditional software developer. Deep engineering experience isn’t required. We care more about product thinking, design taste, resourcefulness, and your ability to build something that works.
