We're Hiring | Lead, DevOps & Platform Engineering (5-15 Years)
Location- Mumbai / Bangalore
Kotak Neo is undertaking a large-scale technology transformation, rebuilding critical platforms from the ground up. We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead, DevOps & Platform Engineering professional to build and scale the platform that powers our next-generation trading, risk, data, and observability systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage Kubernetes and infrastructure platforms across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), GitOps, CI/CD, and platform automation at scale.
- Establish observability standards, SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, incident management, and performance engineering.
- Lead datacenter migration initiatives, platform security, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Optimize platform reliability, scalability, security, and infrastructure costs.
- Build and mentor high-performing platform engineering teams.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering, with 3+ years leading teams.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS or equivalent), Linux, Networking, and Security.
- Strong experience in CI/CD, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), Infrastructure Automation, and Reliability Engineering.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience operating mission-critical, highly regulated production environments.
Preferred Skills -
- Capital Markets, Trading Platforms, or Payments Infrastructure experience.
- Datacenter migration and hybrid cloud expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
- Exposure to SEBI CSCRF, RBI Cyber Security Guidelines, or similar regulatory frameworks.
