We’re looking for a Quality Engineering Lead who wants to do more than manage a QA team. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of quality engineering, build scalable automation, elevate engineering standards, and play a vital role in the company’s next phase of growth.
You’ll be both hands-on and strategic — leading a talented team while helping evolve testing practices, architecture, automation, and reliability across complex cloud-based systems.
🔥 What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and grow a high-performing Quality Engineering / QA team.
- Build and evolve scalable Python-based test automation frameworks.
- Drive automation across UI, API, integration, and distributed systems.
- Integrate automated testing deeply into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Establish best practices around quality, performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Work across microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and other distributed technologies.
- Leverage tools such as Selenium, Xray/Jira, and modern developer tooling including Cursor, Windsurf, and AI-powered tools.
- Explore and implement AI-driven and agentic testing approaches.
- Work with workflow orchestration technologies such as Temporal.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product leadership to make quality a core part of the development lifecycle.
- Help define the future QA/QE strategy and technical roadmap as the organization scales.
🧠 What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading QA/QE teams in complex, cloud-based environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python test automation.
- Experience with Selenium or similar UI automation frameworks.
- Strong CI/CD experience, particularly with Jenkins.
- Experience with Xray, Jira, or similar test management platforms.
- Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of performance, scalability, and reliability testing.
- Strong interest in AI-native, AI-driven, or agentic testing.
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- A builder's mindset — someone who enjoys creating, improving, and scaling engineering practices.
💰 Compensation & Perks
$100,,000 – $150,000 annual compensation + annual bonus
