Corporate Finance Manager
Location: Athlone, Co. Westmeath
Working Hours: Full-Time, Office-Based
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to join a professional advisory team in Athlone. You will work primarily across Corporate Finance and Transaction Support assignments, managing projects and working closely with the Director.
This is a varied role offering exposure to challenging assignments involving business planning, acquisitions and disposals, restructuring, business sales, succession planning and transaction support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Corporate Finance and Transaction Support assignments from start to completion.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, financial modelling and company valuations.
- Assist clients in preparing their businesses for sale and supporting the sale process.
- Support acquisition projects, including strategic appraisal, transaction structuring and due diligence.
- Develop innovative and commercially focused solutions for clients.
- Assist with debt and equity funding projects.
- Prepare professional reports, presentations and client communications.
- Liaise directly with clients, professional advisers and other stakeholders.
- Manage multiple assignments and workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
- Provide support on business recovery, restructuring and succession planning assignments where required.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with relevant Corporate Finance experience.
- Strong financial analysis, modelling and valuation skills.
- Commercially minded with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence dealing directly with clients.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and professional judgement.
- A proactive approach with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions.
