Position: Service Technician-Electrical
Location: Tuas, Singapore
Salary: Basic Salary up to SGD 4,500+ Performance Bonus
Working Time: Mon–Fri: 8am–5pm | Sat: 8am–12pm
Our client is a Singapore-based engineering company specializing in truck-mounted lifting equipment, including cranes, hooklifts, tail lifts and waste-management systems, with services covering equipment supply, installation, fabrication, maintenance, repair, inspection and technical support.
Job Description
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and maintenance of commercial vehicles, lifting equipment, industrial machinery, and related systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical components, wiring, sensors, switches, controllers, hydraulic systems, and other equipment-related components.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, testing, commissioning, and equipment servicing.
- Provide workshop and on-site technical support as required.
- Conduct inspections, functional testing, and quality checks to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and operational.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, repair documentation, and other relevant technical reports.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to identify equipment issues and support effective solutions.
- Follow applicable company procedures, manufacturer guidelines, workplace safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any safety, technical, or equipment-related issues.
Job Requirements
- Relevant experience in heavy vehicles, commercial vehicles, automotive equipment, lifting equipment, industrial machinery, electrical/mechanical maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of 12V/24V DC electrical systems, wiring, electrical testing, and fault diagnosis.
- Practical experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, servicing, and repair.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with multimeters, diagnostic equipment, electrical testing tools, and other relevant service equipment.
- Ability to work in both workshop and field-service environments.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge and skills.
