Oversee the selection, evaluation, negotiation, and long-term relationship management of key suppliers.

Drive supplier consolidation, strategic partnerships, and supplier performance improvements.

Implement mechanisms for supplier risk early warning and continuous monitoring.

3. Cost and Commercial Optimization

Drive cost optimization and value enhancement for major procurement expenditures.

Reduce procurement costs through centralized sourcing, long-term agreements, competitive bidding, and commercial negotiations.

Analyze market prices, raw material costs, and supplier pricing structures.

4. Contracts and Negotiation

Lead negotiations for major procurement contracts and strategic partnership agreements.

Establish standardized procurement contracts and commercial terms.

Manage major contract risks in collaboration with legal, finance, and business teams.

Optimize payment terms, pricing mechanisms, service levels, and long-term partnership terms.

5. Supply Chain Risk Management

Identify potential risks related to key suppliers, raw materials, and service providers.

Develop supplier diversification and alternative sourcing strategies.

Mitigate risks associated with supply disruptions, price volatility, geopolitical issues, and market changes.

Formulate business continuity plans for critical procurement categories.

6. Cross-functional Leadership

Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, COO, and business units on sourcing decisions.

Establish collaborative mechanisms with engineering, operations, finance, legal, quality, and supply chain teams.

Align sourcing strategies with the company's overall business strategy and growth objectives.

7. Team and Organizational Development

Build and lead a high-performing strategic sourcing team. Develop talent in procurement, category management, supplier management, and contract management.

Establish performance metrics, career development paths, and talent pipeline systems for the procurement team.

Drive the digitalization of procurement, data analytics, and process automation.
