Junior AI Automation Developer (m/w/d)

Location: Munich (Hybrid)

About our Client: On behalf of a fast-growing, innovative AI & process automation consultancy, we are looking to reinforce the development team. Our client builds and deploys real-world AI and automation solutions for top-tier global brands across social media, automotive, and insurance sectors.

The Position: We are looking for motivated talents with a computer science background who want to automate complex business processes using AI agents, APIs, and modern workflow platforms.

The Role & Responsibilities:

- Workflow Development: Designing and building automated workflows primarily using n8n and complementary tools (Make, Zapier).

- System Integration: Seamlessly connecting disparate software systems via REST APIs, webhooks, and relational databases (SQL, Postgres, Airtable).

- Scripting & Code: Writing custom scripts in JavaScript or TypeScript for tailored business logic and edge cases.

- AI Agents & LLMs: Integrating state-of-the-art language models (OpenAI, Anthropic) and autonomous AI agents into active client processes.

- Deployment & Mentoring: Managing cloud runtime environments and working directly on client projects from day one with hands-on mentoring from senior devs.

Profile:

- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a completed vocational IT training (e.g., Application Development).

- Solid foundational understanding of programming (scripting, OOP, JS/TS, Python) and general IT architecture (APIs, databases).

- Initial practical experience or strong passion for workflow automation, prompting, and AI solutions.

- Fluent German skills (C1 level mandatory) for team collaboration and client communication, along with good English skills.

- High self-motivation, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to collaborate on-site in the Munich office.

This position offers a salary range of approx. EUR 42,000–60,000 gross per year (including a new M-series MacBook Pro, Claude Code subscription, and full dev setup). Further details will be shared in an in-depth conversation.
