Full Stack Software Engineer - Client-Facing
Location: UK-Wide / Remote-First (Up to 60% travel to customer sites; initial projects in the West Midlands)
Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 + fully covered travel, hotels, and expenses
Industry: Healthcare SaaS
The Role
We are partnering with an established, fast-growing healthcare SaaS business whose platforms streamline operations and enhance patient care across the UK.
They are looking for a Full Stack Client-Facing Software Engineer to bridge the gap between engineering and live delivery. Instead of writing code in a vacuum, you will work directly with customer teams using the SaaS platform—identifying system bottlenecks, configuring front-to-back solutions, and writing fast, high-quality full stack code to solve client needs in real time.
Direct, hands-on experience working directly with customers using a SaaS product is essential for this role.
How You’ll Split Your Time:
- 50% Full Stack Development: Live coding across the front-end and back-end, configuring systems, and building custom API integrations.
- 30% On-Site Discovery & Customer Support: Partnering directly with end users on-site to map requirements, test features, and resolve SaaS platform issues face-to-face.
- 20% Core Product Collaboration: Translating user feedback into scalable full stack features for the central product roadmap.
What We Are Looking For:
- Customer-Facing SaaS Experience (Essential): Proven track record working directly with customers who actively use your SaaS product to drive adoption, solve operational challenges, and gather feedback.
- Full Stack Engineering (5+ Years): Strong experience shipping production code across both front-end and back-end stacks. Experience in a .NET / C# environment with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) is ideal (or proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust with a willingness to adapt).
- Integrations & Cloud: Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, database architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Pragmatic Mindset: Problem solver who thrives on direct client interaction and prefers fast, practical outcomes over theoretical code elegance.
- Travel Flexibility: Comfortable traveling and staying on-site during major client launches (up to 60% travel).
- Right to Work: Unrestricted UK Right to Work is required.
What’s in it for You?
- Competitive salary (£70k–£90k) with all travel expenses fully funded.
- Relaxed, inclusive team environment with dedicated social budgets.
- The chance to write full stack code that directly impacts healthcare frontline users.
