ABOUT THE ROLE

Overview

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own full-cycle recruitment for Ecolibrium across technology, engineering, operations and business roles, with working knowledge of core HR processes to provide backup cover on HR administration when needed. The role will run sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer management end-to-end, with role approvals and hiring decisions resting with the Head of HR/People and department heads.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the primary point of contact for every candidate and hiring manager — building genuine relationships with department heads to understand what they actually need, while applying the same fair, consistent process and standards to everyone in the pipeline.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work directly with department heads to run their hiring pipelines with a high degree of autonomy, bringing the Head of HR/People in only for role approval, offer sign-off, and communication with Finance on headcount. This is an ownership role requiring strong sourcing judgement, stakeholder management and the ability to run multiple requisitions independently with minimal oversight.

THE WORK

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end recruitment for assigned requisitions, including sourcing strategy, screening, interview coordination and offer management, with minimal day-to-day oversight.

- Build and run sourcing strategies across job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, campus channels and other channels, adapting approach by role and market.

- Screen resumes and run initial screening conversations, exercising independent judgement on fit against role requirements.

- Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and panel members, ensuring timely feedback and closure, and stepping in to unblock stalled pipelines.

- Own and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS)/recruitment database, using it properly — accurate candidate and requisition status, clean reporting, no manual workarounds.

- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, acting as a warm and reliable point of contact while applying the same standards and timelines fairly to every candidate.

- Run offer roll-out independently, including reference checks, negotiation within approved bands, offer letter coordination and pre-boarding documentation, escalating only exceptions.

- Coordinate with the HR/Admin Coordinator for smooth handover of new joiners to onboarding.

- Provide backup cover for core HR & Admin Coordinator duties (onboarding support, basic employee queries, records) as required, ensuring continuity for employees.

- Post and manage job advertisements across job boards, the careers page and social media platforms.

- Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline status and offer acceptance rates, and report proactively rather than on request.

- Run campus and walk-in recruitment drives, job fairs and other hiring events as required.

- Maintain recruitment trackers, MIS and weekly/monthly hiring reports.

- Manage vendor and recruitment agency relationships for select requisitions, including negotiating terms within agreed parameters.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field discipline.

- 3–5 years of relevant recruitment/talent acquisition experience, preferably in a technology, engineering or similar environment, including experience owning requisitions independently.

- Strong working knowledge of sourcing tools and channels, including LinkedIn, job portals and employee referral programmes, and the judgement to choose the right channel for the role.

- Solid experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) or recruitment database to a high standard, not just as a data-entry tool.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work directly and confidently with department heads.

- A genuinely warm, upbeat, people-first personality — someone who comes across as happy and approachable with candidates and colleagues alike — paired with the discipline to apply the same process and standards consistently and fairly to everyone.

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to run multiple requisitions independently and with minimal supervision.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for recruitment tracking and reporting.

- Basic working knowledge of core HR processes (onboarding, records, employee lifecycle administration), sufficient to provide competent backup cover when required.

- High level of ownership, autonomy and attention to detail — comfortable making judgement calls without needing sign-off on every step.

Desirable

- Experience in technical/engineering hiring or campus recruitment.

- Exposure to employer branding or social media recruitment activities.

- Certification in recruitment or talent acquisition.
