This is not your typical Senior Engineer role.
We’re supporting a UK product company that is building its first internal engineering team, and they’re looking for a Senior TypeScript Engineer who wants real influence over how engineering is shaped from day one.
You’ll be hands-on with the product, but you’ll also help define:
• Architecture and technical direction
• Engineering standards and ways of working
• AI-assisted development workflows
• How the future engineering team is built and developed
We’re looking for someone who enjoys ownership, technical leadership, mentoring others, and challenging existing approaches, not just shipping features.
📍 Brighton, UK — hybrid, 3 days onsite
💰 £85,000–£100,000
💼 Full-time, direct hire
